Ishu Gupta

Dr. Ishu Gupta is serving as a faculty (Ramanujan Fellow-Scientist-D) at the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B) by availing scientist-specific, prestigious, and highly selective ‘Ramanujan Fellowship’ from Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. Under Ramanujan Fellowship, she received funding of Rs. 35 lakhs as Principal Investigator (PI). Her major research interests include the domain of Quantum Computing, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Industrial Informatics. She worked as a Postdoc Research Fellow in the Cloud Computing Research Center, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Sun Yat-Sen University (NSYSU), Kaohsiung, Taiwan. She was the key member of research projects sponsored by Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), Govt. of Taiwan. She was Nominated for Taiwan Comprehensive University System (TCUS) Young Scholars award 2022 by NSYSU, Taiwan. She has completed her Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Applications, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra, India. Her thesis was nominated for ACM India Doctoral Dissertation Award 2022 by NIT-K. Dr. Gupta has qualified NET and JRF and availed of the prestigious ‘Senior and Junior Research Fellowship’ (SRF/JRF) provided by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India during her Ph.D. She is the recipient of the Gold Medal in her master's degree. She has many publications in international conferences, journals, and book chapters of high repute including IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, Taylor, and Francis, etc. and received the ‘Excellent Paper Award’ twice from the international conferences. She has around seven years of research and teaching experience. She has been a reviewer of many reputed international journals and conferences. She is a member of IEEE, ACM, and their multiple prestigious societies and communities.
